My Question or Issue

Hello,

I am developing an application which controls a remote Bluetooth device. The application can open files (ex. MP3, internet radio) and process audio FFT, BPM and level values. These limited values are periodically transmitted to the remote device for visualization effects.

Would incorporating the Spotify API as an audio stream source and processing the audio similarly be a violation of the TOS? Again, specific streamed audio is never re-transmitted, only limited information about the audio is transmitted (FFT, BPM and levels).
