Spotify App Remote for Commercial use

Would anyone be able to clarify whether the app remote sdk is classed as a streaming SDA for an android app? As all streaming is offloaded to the Spotify app on the users device, which they must have installed. I wanted to build in basic functionality to be able to control playback into my app. The developer terms are quite clear about not commercialising a streaming SDA, so wanted to clarify if this falls under this category or is classed as a non streaming SDA and therefore can be commercialised.
