Spotify Embed in Commercial App

Hi,

I've looked around for this issue but cannot find the answer.

I am building an online courses webapp, it's a paid app. As part of this app I want to embed a spotify track using the embed feature provided by Spotify. Is it okay with Spotify to do this?

Hi @anthonydaly,

I've checked it with the moderators.

According to them, it's not allowed, because embeds are for personal use only.

Also, embeds will show only a preview when a user has no Spotify Premium subscription and is not logged in. (On mobile it shows me always a preview, even in this case.)
