With the new Spotify Developer API update you have nuked the system so people cannot use custom plugins for there elgato streamdecks to control there playlists and music it's a absolute joke how u just ruin stuff for people.

For my personal streamdeck use, I'd really like to retain the ability to launch playlists, view the playlist cover icon, and to add songs to my playlists.

I wholeheartedly agree that the API and support ecosystem where a MAJOR reason to be on Spotify. And if that is going away, then there's not much holding me back from going to the superior sounding apple music.
