Spotify Web API: Constant Rate limit exceeded

Hi,

I have been using the Spotify API on development mode only to get album info and create playlists for myself for almost 6 months.

As of 2 days ago, every call I make to the Spotify API returns a 429 "API rate limit exceeded", no matter how much I wait that is always the response I get, even if I haven't used the API for hours.

What kind of rate can I be exceeding if even after the "retry-after" it still fails?

No solution but I have the same thing, also since just a few days.
