SpotifyAppRemote media notification on lockscreen

Hi!

Is there anyway to customize the Spotify media notification on lockscreen to return to my Android native app when the user clicks on it as opposed to opening Spotify? My app uses SpotifyAppRemote playerApi to play full Spotify songs. If not, is there an option to hide the Spotify media notification on lockscreen and I use my own media notification? Or should I be using a different api to be able to achieve this behavior?
