Track Stream Data

I'm currently building a tool using the Spotify API and have noticed that individual track stream counts aren’t available through the API. However, websites like Kworb.net and Songstats display stream numbers for specific songs.

I'm curious — how are they obtaining this data? Are they scraping it from Spotify Web or using another method? If they are scraping, is that considered a violation of Spotify's terms of service or potentially illegal?
