User History API Endpoint Missing Tracks

My Question or Issue

I am a developer that makes use of the v1/me/player/recently-played endpoint. I noticed that the endpoint only shows two songs that I've listened to over the past two days, whereas all history before that is accurate. The same is true for other users of my service.

I checked stats.fm, an app I use that also makes use of this endpoint, and it shows the same incorrect history that I am getting when accessing the endpoint directly. I am not supplying a before/after parameter, so the response should include all the songs I've listened to recently.
