Will mopidy-spotify plugin be ever fixed?

My Question or Issue

mopidy-spotify plugin used to work perfectly well last year and that's why I used Spotify, but after all those changes, it doesn't work anymore because all requests coming from librespot are blocked by Spotify server that doesn't serve an encryption key anymore. The bug was reported as an issue 1649 in librespot  github, but no one was assigned. Does it mean that the issue will never be fixed and mopidy will never be able to integrate with Spotify again?
