My Question or Issue

I'm making an application with android studio (as a university project) that sees the listening data from the spotify profile. testing the app on android 11 I can get the access token and the api of the most played tracks while testing it on android 12 the app crashes when I try to connect to spotify, I'm using retrofit and the spotify web api, what could be the problem? all libraries are up to date and android studio too
