spotify search function not working

My Question or Issue

i use the spotipy library to use python to get metadata about albums. i use the searhc function to find the albums but now everytime my script gets at the search it does not continue and it basically freezes. i hae attached a wordfile with a screenshot how it looks. the other functions like artist_albums work fine. it is specifically the search function.

anybody have any idea how to fix this?

I can't find any bugs in your code (it ran for me), so I think it is/was an error on Spotify's end.

Can you check if your code runs at the moment and check if the demo at the bottom of the following page runs for you?

i tried it again and it worked this morning but when i tried the search function in a loop the same problem happened after a while. it prints the artist and  album every iteration and it just hanged after a while and after killing the terminal the search gives nothing back again. is there some sort of limit in the amount you can search within a certain time period?
