ADD ABILITY TO UPDATE PAYMENT INFORMATION IN APP

There is no ability to update payment information or plan information in app. The app literally says "You can't make changes to your plan in app. We know this is not ideal." Well, obviously. If it is not ideal, are you making changes to fix it? There are SO many people that only have access to their phone. Their phone IS THEIR COMPUTER. You are creating inaccessible content by making it impossible for someone to even update their payment information without a literal DESKTOP COMPUTER. Which, again, many people in this day and age do not have. I needed to update my payment information and went to do so immediately as a responsible person but ALAS I could not because I needed a desktop version of Spotify to update my information. It needs to be changed and saying it isn't ideal, is not good enough.

Thanks for reaching out. While you cannot manage your subscription within the app, but this is done via the account page. All changes to the account and plan are made there and you can of course open the account page on any device, phones included, so a computer isn't actually necessary to manage your subscription. Also, where exactly do you see the message you mentioned? Send us some screenshots and we'd be happy to look into it.

It's because Apple thinks it is entitled to a huge cut for any payments arranged inside an app. Blame them.
