I have been charged for my subscription but i got a mail that the payment is failed and still hasn't upgraded .It's a student account.

I have been charged for my subscription but i got a mail that the payment is failed and still hasn't upgraded .It's a student account.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

 

In order for the payment to go through successfully, make sure that:

  • Your payment method is issued in the same country as the country of your Spotify account. You can check your account's country settings on your account page.
  • The payment method you're trying to use is open for foreign, recurring and online payments. You may need to double-check this with your bank.
  • You have sufficient funds.

In case you've checked all of these and you're still experiencing issues with payments, try using another payment method or an incognito window as it doesn't keep that info saved.
