Access to Family Basic Plan

My Question or Issue

I currently have the option to switch to Basic Plan, which I would prefer but we want to combine our individual plans to a Family Plan. If I upgrade my subscription to Premium Family, will I then have access to move to Family Basic? Or if I switch to Basic, will I then see the option to go to Family Basic?

Thanks for reaching out.

The eligibility for the Basic plan is based on the start date of your current subscription, and it's, unfortunately, not possible to switch between Basic plans. If you were to switch to Premium Family now, you wouldn't be offered the Basic plan.

Thanks. So does that mean Premium Family is classed as a new subscription? And there's no way at all to get from Premium individual to Family Basic even though my start date meets the criteria for switching to basic?

Yes, that's correct. Your current start date only allows you to subscribe to Basic Individual, since you're currently on Premium Individual.
