My Question or Issue

I live in the USA but I travel 3-6 months out of the year in Asia. I am in Asia right now and Spotify works fine but I want to upgrade to the family plan and add a family member. It let me upgrade to the family subscription and enter my US address but when my family member tries to accept my invitation it tells her that she is in another country so cannot join my US based family plan. Is there any way around this limitation? I won't be back in the US for two more months and I don't want to wait until then to add the family member.

FYI I have tried turning off location services on the phone and entering the address manually. Still it finds that she is in another country. She is using a Facebook account so they must be using her Facebook address. That is the only way that I can see that they are finding that she is not in the USA.
