Annual subscription paid overlap

Paid already for annual subscription on12/24, but still account webpage notify me the payment on coming Jan. 8th, which is existing monthly subscription agreement. But I suppose payment of another 12 months should automatically stop original deal and start new year contract since Jan. 8th...no??   😞

According to the official Spotify twitter support (@SpotifyCares),

If you sign up for Spotify Yearly, your year of Premium service will begin at the end of your current paid month. When your year of Premium service is over, your account will revert back to your current monthly subscription.

Therefore, your next payment should be on January 8th 2019. (1/8/19)

Please check your account subscription page and insure that it says your next payment is in 2019 and not 2018.
