Can I get Spotify Premium without activating the free trial?

Hi everyone,

I want to get Spotify Premium, but I don't want to activate the free trial and save it for another time. I remember that it normally signs you up for the trial automatically and I haven't found a way to turn this off without signing up for Premium first.

 

Is there any way to turn the automatic sign-up off? I really want to save the free trial for another time.

Unfortunately, once you have purchased premium you aren't able to clain the free trial at a later date.

Hi there,

Some time ago I used the free 30-days trial and canceled after it ended. Now I want to buy premium, but I can't because of the 30-days trial thing (* Open only to users who haven't already tried Premium.)

 

How can I get directly to premium, please?

You should be able to purchase Spotify Premium by going to https://spotify.com/premium 🙂 Let me know if you're having issues there, and I'll see what I can suggest!

Yes, that is the problem. My card is being declined because I already tried the free trial years ago and now I can't access or pay for premium.

That's not cool, @delyahh!

 

Even if you've already used the Spotify Premium trial before, you should be able to use that same credit card for Premium! Would you be able to share a screenshot of any error messages/codes you're getting (making sure not to share anything personal or private)?

It doesn't offer any relevant information. I have a valid card with sufficient funds. It is the same I used for the old trial and I use it all the time for online payments. 😞

Just to 100% cover all bases, I'd suggest reaching out to your bank to make sure that your account & card meets all these requirements 🔍
