Can you use tthe same card on multiple accounts?

My Question or Issue

I made a new account using an alt gmail since i couldnt get into my old acc using my personal gmail and i purchased the free 3 month premium. A month later i was able to access my old acc and tried to purchase the 3 month plan premium (using the same card for the alt acc ) and switch accounts but it denied my request. Are we only allowed to use one card per account?

Thanks for posting on the Community and welcome. 

If your card meets these requirements, you should be able to use the same payment method with multiple accounts. 

Changing tunes, we recommend cancelling the subscription of the account you won't use in order to prevent double charges in the future. You can do this by following these steps. Once you do this, you'll be able to close the additional account (to prevent confusion) by checking this article.

In case you still have issues with your payment method, we suggest getting in contact with your bank for additional info.
