Cancelling subscription

I signed up for spotify premium but I have the 3p day free trial. I want to cancel it but when I followed the instructions of the website it kept taking me to the page to sign up to premium. On my account it says if I dont cancel before 10th June I will be charged, I have tried to email them to ask them to cancel my subscription but I got an email saying to try asking for help on here? Any idea how I can cancel my subscription or do I have to wait until the trial period ends?

Normally this happens when a duplicate account exists, one with a Spotify username / password and one with your Facebook details.

Did you get an email receipt for your trial? In it, it shows your Spotify username:

Username/ID:        xxxxxxx

Logout of the app, and be sure to use it to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.

In there you can cancel if you want to, and delete your payment info.

If you see a random characters, that's your actual Spotify username, which was assigned automatically to you when you created your account through Facebook. If you see it in your receipt, you need to use the Log In with Facebook button.
