Cannot Claim Google Home Mini- Error Code PBRE on Google Store

My Question or Issue

 I received the email from Spotify letting me know to claim my Google Home Mini by 1/15 but I tried multiple times to check out. After the website redirects me to Google Store, I add the Mini to cart and click 'checkout', then an error message appears: "It’s not you, it’s us. We’re working on fixing the problem. Check back soon. Error code: PBRE".  Then as I go to my shopping cart again it's looking to charge me $52 retail price. Please help.
