Cannot add credit card details in the payment option of my account

Cannot add credit card details in the payment option of my account

Plan - Free

Country - India

Device - Xiaomi Mi A3

Operating System - Android 11

 

My Question or Issue -

I am having problem in adding my credit card details to my Spotify account. In the website, the instructions read as follows

"Under Your plan, click UPDATE next to your payment method."

When I login to my account page, there is no UPDATE option in the Your plan section.

Kindly help me with the issue.

thanks for reaching out !

 

First of all I'd start by saying I asked to get your uploaded picture removed as it contains sensitive info, if you read this prior to it being removed, please make sure to reupload it hiding any sensitive info.

 

To your question, it seems that you are using the Free edition, is this correct ?

The "Update" option will appear once you become a Premium subscriber as then and only then you're asked to enter payment details.
