My Question or Issue

I want to move from Premium to Premium Duo/Family. I already cancelled my current subscription which will be ended next 3 days. Now, I want to subscribe again. But I got error Unable to change plans. This could be because you're not eligible for this plan, you're already on it, or you don't have a stored payment method.

 

I have tried to open Incognito Window and login. On subscription method, I have choose Credit/Debit card. But on BUY PREMIUM button, it showing Pay for Spotify Premium through your mobile phone bill. I don't want to pay by phone as my carrier is not listed on the selection. What should I do? This has become troublesome.

I had just stumbled upon this possible solution with the help from support.spotify.com . The agent (Bernard C) is helpful and guided me to open this  https://www.spotify.com/my/purchase/offer/premium-family/?country=MY&carrier=0  in incognito mode, and voila! It worked! 

 

Note: At first when I logged in using Facebook, it still shows only "Pay By Mobile" option only. The second time I tried log in using email then it worked!

Yes indeed. Not sure why it happen when navigating from spotify web and it differ when using their provided link. By the way, I got my subscription on Duo finally. Cheers guys

I followed all the instructions but I still didn't get to resolve the issue. Is there any other way? I even canceled my subscription through Boku as I was instructed by Spotify Cares but it is to no avail.

I cancelled the subscription before I proceed with Duo. On there, I got my issue, I just emel with Spotify support on my problem. I just follow their instruction. Whenever failed, I send a reply with screenshot of what happening, they will suggest another way. Perform the try and error until succeed with subscription.

I guess I need to cancel my subscription beforehand before trying your method.

Could you let us know if you tried activating your new plan using an incognito browser or a different device? It's also a good idea to make sure that your country settings and payment method match the actual region you're in. If you're using VPN this might also cause similar issues.

 

If this doesn't fix things, it's indeed a good idea to try canceling your current subscription before activating a new one. Keep in mind that all subscription changes, including a revert to free have don't affect your music collection.

cant change billing infomation

Could you let us know if you've already tried the steps @Mihail provided previously?

 

If  you have, would you mind sending us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end when you're trying to change your payment details? Make sure not to send any private info.

 

Additionally, we suggest that you try changing this info following these steps.

The issue is settled now. I cancelled my current subscription first and then resubscribe using the link given. Thanks for the help! Really appreciate it
