Change from premium to family

Change from premium to family

 

Hi, I have two issues. 😞

 

1) I've just created my Spotify account today. I bought the Premium plan thinking I'd get the 1st month for free as it was advertised everywhere, but I've been billed $10,99 on my credit card.

 

2) Then, after I spoke with my sister and decided to change for a Family plan, I tried to cancel my Premium plan and change it for Family, and I've been charged an extra $15. 

 

Will the first $10,99 automatically be removed from my bill since it was supposed to be the 1 month for free, plus the fact that I haven't even used it for a day before I switched to Family plan? Or do I have to pay $10 + $15? 😕

Thanks for coming to the Community. I'll try my best to help you.

 

Can you please let me know the type of payment method that you've used?

 

Keep in mind that each payment method can only be used once to claim a trial, so if that payment method has been used for another Spotify account already, it's normal behavior that you didn't receive a trial.

 

Upgrading from Premium to Premium for Family converts your remaining Premium time into Premium for Family time, and this can bring your payment date forward.

This means that you didn't actually lose any money when upgrading.
