Changing from Premium family to Premium Duo not possible

My Question or Issue

We currently have a Premium Family plan, however we do not use more than 2 accounts and live at the same address, so I want to switch our plan to Premium Duo. However the Premium Duo is not available when I try to switch plans. What is wrong?

Thanks for coming to the Community.

You'll first need to cancel your subscription, wait until your account reverts back to free, then subscribe to Premium Duo at https://spotify.com/duo.

Thanks for the reply. I'll have to wait untill my subscription is cancelled, before I can change it, but I guess it will work.

A weird way to treat your customers and a big possibility for me to switch to competitors, I guess the PO of subscriptions should put this on its backlog..
