Changing subscriptions

So I want to change my subscription from premium to the student one. It says I have to first cancel my premium account in order to switch. If I do that will I lose all of my music?

Hi Bschlais15!

You will only need to cancel your current Premium plan if you signed up through a different company other than Spotify. If you are subscribing through Spotify already all you have to do is fill out the sign up section. Once your account is verified as an eligible student your Premium price will be reduced.
You should not lose your current music as long as you do not create a brand new account with a different email or Facebook id.
