Charged Regular Premium Cost as Student

I activated a student discount for Spotify over a year ago and received an email a few months ago about updating my student account. I updated it and everything seemed fine but when I looked back at my receipts for the past four months, I noticed that I was charged $9.99 per month. On my account page, it said that my membership was a regular premium, not a student premium. When I tried to change it to Student, it gave me an error as if I was already a student. After disconnecting my account from Facebook and clicking on the option to activate Hulu, my account page finally displayed my subscription as student even though I didn't do anything to successfully change my subscription. I would like to receive a refund for the extra $5.00 that I was wrongfully charged over this period

Have you recently gotten out of college, if you have it could've set it to a regular account.

No I’m currently in my senior year and I know that my university email address is still valid as I use it everyday.
