Hello, I was trying to get a student discount but then realised that I'm not a student yet (as in my country student includes people who go to school aswell), after that I have purchased regular Spotify premium, and got charged for both without even confirming that I'm a student. Any help? I would like my money back (acc name stace.sky).

Have you received a receipt from Spotify via Email (for the student discount charge)?

I got a receipt only for the regular Premium per mail, not for the student discount.

Great! The student discount charge is most likely only a pending charge.


A pending charge is a part of your bank or credit card company’s authorization process. When you submit a payment, they place a temporary authorization on the funds.


If the transaction doesn’t successfully complete, no money will be taken and the charge will soon disappear. The time this takes can vary, depending on your bank/credit card company. For more information, contact your bank/credit card company.
