Country limitations

The person who should become the annual gift card cannot use the it because of country limitation. Please send a new code for Spain.

This is incredible. We are talking about cash = gift cards

As it says in this support article:

• Spotify gift cards can only be redeemed on Spotify accounts registered in the same country where they were purchased.

It is possible to send yourself a gift card and redeem it on your account, as long as the country in which the gift card was bought matches the country which is set on your Spotify account.

You can still get a refund for the gift card if you can't redeem it on your account. You just need to get in touch with our Customer Support team here and they will be happy to help you out.

we are talking about Europe and the euro zone. It is like a could not buy a gift card in Arizona for someone in California!

it think there are strong improvements to be implemented at Spotify.

We understand what you mean, but due to price differences for Premium between countries, the country settings of an account must match the country in which the gift card was purchased. Premium costs differently in each country. 

If you can't redeem the card on any account, and you bought the gift card from our site, we suggest that you get in touch with the relevant support team found here.
