Dates don't match when changing plans

Solved!

Dates don't match when changing plans

Hello friends.

I hope you will be able to help me out.

I'm having a funny problem with the subscription dates. My current premium subscription ends on Sep 16th and I want to change to Duo, but the new billing period would start on Sep 7th...

Does that mean that I loose the last week of my current plan?

Hey @gingerspud,

Obviously, Premium Duo is a bit more expensive than Premium Individual 🙂

And when you switch plans, your already paid Premium time will get automatically converted to account for the price difference.

You can use Premium Duo from the moment you switch plans and you can invite an additional member to your plan, but your next bill will come sooner.

I hope this clears things up!

Hey @gingerspud,

Thanks for reaching out.

When you upgrade from Premium to Premium Duo, your existing Premium time will be converted into Premium Duo time. This can bring your payment date forward. 🙂

I hope this clears things up!

Thanks for the quick reply!

I'm not sure how can that be acceptable. If what you say is right, that means I'm being charged a 1 week penalty fee for changing to another plan...!

Now I understand! I thought Duo would be available only from the new billing date but if it is available from the moment I change plans it makes perfect sense that the billing date is brought forward.

Thank you very much for the explanation.

Glad I was able to clear things up, @gingerspud 🙂

Have a great day.
