Double-payment after updating bank account

Double-payment after updating bank account

Dear Spotify,

I've updated my bank account number. The Spotify instructions mentioned that no money would be calculated. The 'payment' was solely for verification. Sadly I see two times -€9,99 on my bank account after finalizing the verification.

Will this be automatically refunded, or is this a bug?

Thanks for your reply,

Martijn

Hey @martijnc,

Welcome ot the forums!

It sounds as though this is a 'pending charge'. If you have not recieved any email reciept from Spotify confirming the charge it should be returned back to you in the next few days by your bank.

If you have had an email for the charge please let me know and I see what can be done next for you 🙂

Unfortunately I did receive an email for the charge.
What can we do next?

Cheers,
Martijn

Hey @martijnc,

Thanks for getting back!

Anotehr thing is that you could have more than once account. can you please take a look here:

The first one is your subscription page, and I'm interested to know what it says about your subscription (Free or Premium): https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/

The other link to check is your receipts panel. here: https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/receipt/
