Duo partner removal

My Question or Issue

If I remove someone from my premium duo, does it automatically remove their premium and place them on Spotify free? Also, does it notify them?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Spotify community.

If you remove someone from your Duo plan, their Spotify account will revert to the Free version and they will get an email notification.

Note that they might not receive the notification if they've turned off all notifications on their account or have previously blocked emails from Spotify in the email.

From yet another side.  I am the member who pays for premium duo.  I need to remove the current person I’m paying for immediately.   I can only find the option to unsubscribe from premium duo and go back to solo premium at the end of the billing period.   Where do I find the option to remove them now?
