Hello there,

I'll try to help you clear things up. There are two options for group listening, remote group listening is a feature that lets you listen to music with friends no matter where they are. On the other side, group sessions on a speaker let people connected to the same wifi network control the music played on a speaker. I'd recommend checking out the links above to learn more about group sessions.

Let me know how you get on!

I suppose my issue is , my duo account is not under ADrewChew but under a
different account name ,plus I don't have my partners contact as I had to
reset my phone to factory and lost contacts .

Hello @user-removed!

Thanks for your reply. Were you able to log into your Duo page here? If so, you can send your partner the invite link through any messaging app, email, etc. in case you lost their contact.

Hello .
Yes I can log in there and I see the option to invite , but I don't have
their contact to send it to?

Am I missing something?..maybe I need a coffee. lol

Hello @user-removed!

Thanks for clearing that up. In that case, I'd recommend you try adding your partner's contact or asking for their email address. Then you can choose from one of the share options below to send the link to them:

Once your partner gets this link, they can click it and follow the steps to join your plan.

If you're not able to add their contact right now, you can click "Copy link", and paste it in an Incognito Mode window in your browser. Then log in with your partner's login info to join your plan.

Hope this makes sense, make sure to let me know if you have any questions 🙂

Hello .
So I don't think I'm doing this correctly or still missing something .
I tried pasting in incognito page.
Catch is I don't have duo partners contact info anymore.

So confused lol.

Thanks tho :s

Hello @AndyL, @user-removed,

Apologies for the confusion. Just to clarify, the process mentioned is just a way to do it, but the main one is to send the link directly to your partner, so they can click/tap on it and continue with the process on their own device/account.

Since you mentioned you don't have their contact info, I recommend asking for their phone number, email or Facebook to send the invite. If you find any issues with the invite link, make sure to let me know and I'll be glad to help.

Let me know how this goes 🙂

Hi ,.really appreciate the assistance and follow up .
I have no way of contacting them . I think they ran away from me lol..so ya
think I'm out of luck with this unfortunately.

Thanks again 🙂

Hello @user-removed!

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, if you don't have any way of contacting them, it's not possible to add them as a member of your Duo plan. Keep in mind residing in the same address is a requirement to join the plan.

Hope that helped clear things up and make sure to let me know if you have any other questions 🙂

Take care .

Hello @Jose_M ....I'm wondering who made these two community profiles I have . ADrewChew and ChewbaccaU..I did make the Spotify accounts but not these community profiles and not the pictures ?.

Any suggestion appreciated .

Hello there,

I'm sure we can figure out what happened here. I'd recommend trying these steps:

  1. Click on your Community profile picture to display the drop down menu.
  2. Click on the "Log Out" button in the menu (see image below).
  3. Then click "Log In" and enter your login details for one of your Spotify accounts.
  4. Once you logged in, click on Community Profile in the drop down menu.
  5. There, you should be able to see which Community user is linked to your Spotify account.Jose_M_3-1672003935775.png

Then, I'd recommend you try this process logging in with any other Spotify accounts you may have to see which one is linked to a Community user. As far as your Community profile picture, it's automatically generated when you create a Community profile. You should be able to change them from your Community profile page.

someone in Australia mentioning being in a group listening session with me
?.
Odd.

Take care
