I bought samsung s23 ultra from flipkart and i got a coupn of spotify 12 months membership of 699 for free 

But when i am using the coupon on my spotify account its saying me to pay 699 for 12 months membership.

Why its asking me to pay money when i have the free coupon.

Lets take a look into this together. Our Stars Maxim and Luan have mentioned in this thread how eligibility works, but we thought it prudent to lay out how Offers work with Spotify.

Spotify Premium offers such as this one fall subject to a few qualifying circumstances in order for them to be used. In the case for the Flipkart promotional offer it can fall into either:  12-month for the price of 6 months or alternatively 3-month for the price of 1, based on the device that was purchased.

Customers must fall into one of these groups In order to be eligible to redeem these offers: 

  - Customers who haven't taken a trial or used Spotify Premium before
  - Customers who have taken a trial (directly with Spotify or through a Partner), but have reverted to free

This offer isn't entirely free, because you pay for 6 months and get 12 months of Premium. You can redeem this here.

For your information, this offer is applicable for users who haven't taken a trial or used Spotify Premium before, and users who have taken a trial (directly with Spotify or through a Partner), but have reverted to free. If you are eligible, you must be able to redeem it.

In my case I paid 3M amounted to rupees 119 . This is actually not a good approach to the new customers. No response from your side for my problem. You received the money .I sent screenshots for reference. This is very bad for Spotify authorities .

If you've had a trial or paid plan (e.g. Premium Individual) before, or are currently on a paid plan, you're unfortunately not eligible for this offer.

It seems Flipkart and Spotify both are fooling peoples, I have purchase mobile phone two time and both the time I got 12months free voucher and both the voucher are found not valid, even I tried creating new account on Spotify but failed both the time. 

Please stop such fraud things.

Hope Spotify team will stop spreading free voucher roomers in future.
