My Question or Issue

I recently got a new credit card, and when I updated this information on the website, the new credit card got charged for $4.99. I have a standard premium account and I pay $9.99 a month, and my account is set to be charged the 10 dollars again in October, so why did I get charged today for $4.99? How do I get that charge reversed or refunded?

Hello and welcome to the Spotify Community!

I'm glad it's solved, just to let you know, when you add a new payment method Spotify can "charge" the card just to check if it's valid. No money will be taken.

They must have caught their mistake, because the charge on my credit card has been reversed. So no harm done!
