My Question or Issue

 Greetings. Due to some reason (card expired?) my account stopped working. So me click Subscription in my profile, then Update payment. Spotify then says: Your plan: Premium. Choose your payment method.

But that's not what I have. I have Unlimited, and this is what I signed up for, and the update payment section doesn't mirror this. I just want to update my payment info, not to upgrade. Any suggestions? TIA

Hey @halvoll, and welcome to the community.

Hope you're doing great!

Unfortunately, Spotify Unlimited is no longer available for new users.

If you are not on the Free plan, then you should be on the Premium plan. You can update your details by following these steps.

If you cannot update your payment details, could you send me a screenshot of the error message being shown? Make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the community.

Billy: Thanks for answering. However, I'm not a new user. I just don't want to be forced to join a different plan. 🙂

@halvoll,

Thanks for the reply.

I understand your conern. Unortunately, once you change your payment details - you'll only be able to join Premium - and won't be able to keep the Unlimited plan.

I hope this helps! If you need help with anything else, just let me know 🙂
