How to cancel hulu

I have Spotify premium that includes Hulu w ads. I want to upgrade my Hulu. Hulu says I need to cancel the Spotify account and then start fresh. I went in Spotify and downgraded from premium to standard and know Hulu is not included. My subscription doesn’t change over for a week or so…. How can I turn off the Hulu portion now?

No worries, if you've already downgraded the subscription, you will lose access to Hulu on your next billing date. You can check when it is on your Account Page.

This did not help. I know Hulu will go away at the end of billing cycle. I want it gone sooner. How do I do that??

Currently, it's not possible to do that. You need to wait until the last month you paid with the Spotify + HULU subscription finishes. Once you're charged for the new plan, your HULU account won't be connected anymore, and then you'll be able to upgrade your HULU subscription directly with HULU. You can check the exact date when your current plan ends here.

Per a post I saw on Reddit, you can remove Hulu via Spotify > security and privacy > Manage Apps > find Hulu and disable it. I did this and the Spotify billing period passed, but when I login to Hulu it still says its billed through Spotify. I got Hulu years ago when I signed up for Spotify Premium. I'm trying to switch my Disney Plus to Ads free Disney Plus/Hulu, but can't do that until Hulu is removed from my Spotify account. What is an alternate method in achieving this? I've read some folk having to cancel their Spotify account, then re-signing up, but then I'd lose all my playlists I've created over the years. Is that accurate?

You can cancel the Premium with Hulu bundle in different ways:

• Switch to another Premium plan of your liking via your account page. You will lose access to Hulu on the next billing date if you opt for Premium Individual (the exact date can be checked on the account page as well).
  or
• Cancel your current subscription by following the steps here. If you choose to cancel, on the next payment date, your Spotify account will revert to our free service and you'll also lose access to Hulu.

But don't worry - you won't lose any saved content on your account if you cancel your subscription and the account reverts to free. The saved music, followed artists, Liked Songs, etc., are all tied to the Spotify account itself and not to your subscription. You'll just need to re-download the content for offline listening again (if you resubscribe to Premium) 🙂 

Just keep in mind that if you cancel the current Premium with Hulu plan (or upgrade to a different plan such as Family or Duo), it won't be possible to get this specific Hulu bundle offer back.
