How to switch from individual to student when it doesn't want to process?

I attempt to switch from the normal 11.99 premium to the student plan, and it let's me, however the changes never process and it continues like I never pressed change plan. If it helps, I canceled premium before this and attempted to renew it before I loose it and go to free, with the student version. Help 😞

After verifying yourself as a student, you'll also need to activate the discount, as can be seen here ("Choose Your Plan"):

To activate the discount now, you'll need to open www.spotify.com/student again and follow the steps until the end. 🙂
