Hulu stopped working

For years my Hulu has been linked with my Spotify account. I had to get a new debit card and I didn't update it on Spotify so briefly I had a payment issue. I quickly updated it after getting a notification from Spotify. Ever since then my Hulu account does not work.

Currently it's no longer possible to sign up for Spotify Premium + Hulu for new users, as this plan has been discontinued. 

Since you've had Hulu before and have lost it due to failed payment or other payment issue, you might want to reach out to our customer support team through one of the links here. They'll be able to check the eligibility of your account and possibly re-activate your Hulu subscription.

I had premium and hulu that i was paying for for a long time. now i can't get into my hulu account and my plan was changed without me knowing it. why wasn't i informed or have a option?
