I am charged and not getting premium

I am charged and not getting premium

Well i uprgaded my account to premium with a programm about students in the uni in my country and i am charged but i havent get the premium yet. When the files that i send so i can prove that i am student havent approved yet

Thanks for reaching out to us.

 

If the payment shows as pending on your bank statement and you don't have Premium yet, it means that the money was placed on hold when you entered your payment details. These funds should go back to your bank account in a few business days.

 

About the student discount, you should receive a notification email when your details are verified to complete the purchase.

Hi there!

Recently, I wanted to buy the premium with the student discount but after i put all my banking information in, I found out I wasn't eligible for it as I am not a university student. 

Yet, Spotify still charged my banking account $4.99. 

On my spotiy account, it doesn't say it's the premium version. Can you help me cancel the subscription please.

Since you weren't eligible for the discount and your account isn't Premium, the payment should show as pending on your bank statement as stated on the previous post.

 

A pending charge is a part of your bank or credit card company's authorization process. When you submit a payment, your bank or credit card places a temporary authorization on the funds. If the transaction doesn’t successfully complete, no money will be taken and the charge will soon disappear. The time this takes can vary, depending on your bank/credit card company. For more information, contact your bank/credit card company.
