I can't enter my gift card PIN...and I've tried 'zero' and 'uppercase O'

I can't enter my gift card PIN...and I've tried 'zero' and 'uppercase O'

Tried entering the gift card PIN...considered that the 0 might be an O. Upper case I in there as well but pretty sure it is an uppercase I (eye). How many tries until I'm outta tries. Does it cue me that I'm out of tries? Why is this always so difficult?!

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

 

In this case, I'd first try redeeming the gift card using a private/incognito window or a different device.

 

Note that after 4 attempts, you’ll get an error message, and you can then try again after 24 hours.

 

If you're still having trouble redeeming the gift card, I would recommend getting in touch with Customer Support here; they can take a look and help you to redeem your gift card.

I live in India. I had bought a new phone in January 2024 throught Flipkart. Along with the phone, there was an offer that I would get 12 months Spotify premium. When I recieved the code I tried redeeming it multiple times and would get one of two errors either ,"The code is not valid" or " Something went wrong". Till now I haven't been able to redeem it.
