I cant use my vanilla gift card Visa from my birthday. It hasn't been used.

I cant use my vanilla gift card Visa from my birthday. It hasn't been used.

So my birthday was on October 19. I got a Vanilla Visa gift card, it doesn't work for my Spotify premium? I need help. It just says the card doesn't exist, and all the info is right when I put it into the info stuff, and I have been waiting to get Spotify Premium and I'm bummed out!

Can you please post a screenshot of the error message you're seeing? 🙂 Just make sure no sensitive info, such as your card number, are visible on it.

It worked! Thanks for providing the error message.

 

I recommend making sure your payment method has sufficient funds, and is:

  • Registered in the same country to your Spotify account.
  • Not expired or canceled.
  • Enabled for foreign, secure online, and recurring purchases. Look for these settings in your bank’s mobile app (if available)

Also, make sure your bank or payment provider has your correct details. They may need to verify your identity for security, ex. with a password, PIN, fingerprint, or code sent to your device.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend giving it a try on a different device, in an incognito window or while using a different internet connection.

 

If your card meets all of those requirements and you've tried all of the suggested troubleshooting steps, let me know and I'll see what else I can suggest 🙂
