I don't ever use audiobooks in Premium plan. What is the link to change to everything premium?

Premium

Country

USA

My Question or Issue

Received a notice that Premium plan is increasing to $11.99/month starting tomorrow. I never use audiobooks. It looks like there is supposed to be a plan that lets me have everything Premium except audiobooks for the same price I've been paying: $10.99/month. How do I switch to that plan going forward?

Hey @CynthesisToday,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

You can check if you're elifible for the Basic plan by heading here.

I hope this helps 🙂

If I click this:

https://www.spotify.com/us/account/subscription/change/confirm/?target=basic-individual&offerUuid=80...

I get no information on what exactly is _included_ in the Basic plan. Just "Basic Individual" and "You'll lose access to audiobook listening time". There is an implication in that statement but no actual declaration of what _is_ included. I have to take a risk that this means I still get all of my past Premium use of Spotify including no ads and no more audiobook listening time for $10.99/month. An implication but no affirmative legal description of "Basic Individual".

When I do a Ctrl-F in this service contract link:

https://www.spotify.com/us/legal/paid-subscription-terms/

and enter "Basic" it shows that the term "Basic" is "Not found" in the service contract. The link to this service contract is available off the above link in tiny print just above the "Update Subscription" link. Without an affirmative indication of what "Basic" means I have no position in whatever Spotify might do with "Basic" in the future.

I'm going to take the risk that "Basic Individual" means I still get my past Premium use plus no audiobooks for $10.99/month but I have no legal standing because there is no information in the Paid Subscription Terms of what exactly _is_ included in "Basic Individual".

When I clicked "Update subscription" I get an html page that lists the services included. This is my only indication of what is included. I've saved the page as an html for my documentation. This is the only indicator what "Basic Individual" includes.

Hey @CynthesisToday,

Thanks for coming back to the Community.

The Basic plans offer the same features as the Premium plans, except they do not include access to Audiobooks, which is available only in the Premium plans. 🙂

Lastly, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback and comments on this matter.
