When will this policy be updated?
I have just upgraded my subscription to Duo and now my partner cannot access our audiobooks? It’s ridiculous.
I agree- one of the main benefits of Premium access is audiobook hours, but plan members lose this benefit with a Family/Duo plan. This is very frustrating. If the plan manager could be changed so that others could access the hours, that would help, but all premium plan members should have the same hours.
False advertisement from Spotify. Premium Duo isn't '2 Premium accounts' if only one account gets access to audio books. This is easy to rectify, Spotify.
I've just discovered this and I'm furious. We moved onto a Duo account 3 months ago and assumed this was a glitch. So only my partner has access to audiobooks but the fee for the Duo account comes from our joint account. I can't see the reasoning behind this!
Amazon Prime/Kindle/Audible all share between our accounts since we linked them. It seems ridiculous that Spotify can't rectify this.
What's more annoying is that there isn't an option to toggle roles within your premium plan to allow another plan manager to use the benefits (my wife listens to audiobooks, I don't). We would have to cancel our family subscription and she would have to create a new plan just to be the plan manager. This should be a simple checkbox but Spotify doesn't care to tackle such a simple, widespread issue. Really disappointing customer service.
I give this a thumbs down!
Misleading. ONE user gets to listen to audiobooks on a DUO plan. Well played Spotify!
Cherry on the top: Still geo blocking international content. Oh so premium...
Hello 2024. Bye Spotify.
2025 now and this still hasn't been addressed. Might as well go back to solo plan and get former plan member Audible
I find your moderation to be unsatisfactory
This is ridiculous. What is the benefit to Spotify Duo if you can’t both share the audio book time. I would reccomend getting this resolved as this is a massive downfall of Spotify. I will be cancelling both subscriptions if this is not sorted by the new year! What a poor set up!
