You can cancel your Premium Individual plan at any time before your next billing date (March 21st, in your case), in order to avoid the subscription renewing at that time, and to revert back to the free plan instead.
This support article as well as this FAQ article provide the steps to follow in order to cancel your Premium Individual subscription:
After canceling, your Premium will stay until your next billing date (March 21st), when your account will then switch back to the free plan.

Is it true there are no ads on the basic plan??
Hi @Tracytrace,
Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!
Yes, it’s true that there are no ads on Basic plans. Basic plans offer the same features as with Premium, except for the 15 hours of audiobook access that you get with Premium.
If you’re eligible for a Basic plan, you can switch to it via your Manage your plan page. If you’re not eligible, you won’t see the plan available there. Note that you can only downgrade to the same plan type that you’re subscribed to (if you have Premium Individual, you can only get Basic Individual, etc.)
Also keep in mind that once a Basic plan is canceled, you can no longer resubscribe to it.
And just to clarify, the Basic plans don’t have ads, but the free version of Spotify does.
Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a good day!
What do you mean not eligible? I’ve had Spotify for eight years now. I had a basic plan, Changed to premium because I thought I would use the Audible’s. Apparently, I’ve been paying for that for years now. And I want to change back to the basic after they hike up their prices again. And now I’m “ Not eligible” And I feel forced to pay $13 or something that I don’t even **bleep**ing use.
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game and get…
