I'm in premium but my app says Free

Solved!

I'm in premium but my app says Free

I paid for a spotify premium last May 30 2017. I used premium by then and I realized that my account was back to free today June 20. It was not a month of use. I already tried re-logging in in my app but it still says free.

I've been in contact with two specialists and both have stated they are working on the problem, however did not give an ETA on when it's supposed to be resolved. Both of my app and computer will not let me accesss my premium.

They should give us a refund or a rebate for this inconvenience.

I'm another one with the same problem 😞 I was listening music at night without problem ( 20 June) but this morning ( 21 june) I found the issue, the app says that i'm free but official page says  premium and certainly I payed my subscription last week...so, i'ts obvious that they have to solve this problem !!!!! frustating

My mobile app says free as well and the desk top. Ive paid for premium and it also confirms this on my account and I have a reciept. I've been in touch online with a support person who could not fix the issue and then by email with support. Support have just emailed to ask how my expereince ws and the issue is still not fixed. Whats going on?

Same issue. I just paid last week, it works totally fune until yesterday, my Spotify app says I'm still a 'free' user. I already checked my account and it says I'm a premium user now and it will end on 9/13. I tried to log in/out but it isn't working, I even redownload spotify for the 5th time now. This is so frustrating!!!

I think I just fixed it. Bizarre?

Go into spotify on line. Go into your account. Go to change your credit card details and put the same ones in. Close down on line spotify (not log out) and do the same with Mobile spotify. Then go back into both. Its now premium. This clearly show a bug in the system and that spotify support is useless. Worked for me, hope it works for you.

Wow! Good for you since you are using credit card. But I'm using Mobile Banking as my mode of payment. What should I do to fix this?

Unfortuently I dont know. Can you reset the details or the paymnet somehow?

Wow! Thanks! It fixed mine too!
Not sure for the other mode of payment. I just updated my credit card info one more time using the same credit card.

This fix worked for me too, I just connected the same paypal as I had before. Thanks for sharing!

This also solved the problem for me. Thanks bro! Took me 2 days of waiting. The support didn't help at all. They should at least give as rebate

For mobile data users like me, I just re-enter my mobile number and input the code sent via SMS. Logged out and logged in on spotify then I was on premium again. This bug has to be looked into by their tech guys.. such a bummer..

Finally! I'm back to premium. I used mobile banking mode on my payment and what saves me is I enter my mobile number as mode of payment then entered the code that was sent to my phone number then bwala! I'm back. Thank you so much! Spotify Team should really look into this problem it's really frustrating.

Amazing! Kudos! My premium account is now back. Now i know what to do next time. i'm still hoping though that spotify team will fix this asap bec not everyone who's experiencing this will try to look into this thread to find the solution. And this problem shouldn't be happening in the first place.

I just solved it. I just re-enter my mobile number then entered the code sent to my phone and it works. thanks!

Hi Everyone. I updated my payment information on the phone and i think it is resoved. Hopefully it was just a bug that is fixed for good. Cheers.

AWESOME!! ITS WORKING NOW!

The Spotify support just replied to my support ticket. It seems like these guys don't know how to solve this yet. Thank you guys for the solution!
