Solved!

I want to upgrade to premium but I can't because payment country

My playstore account it's Spanish and my paypal account it Spanish too, while my Spotify account seems to be Portuguese. I live in both countries. I can't upgrade to Premium because I can't use none of the payment methods from a different country. And I can't change my country in Spotify because I'm not Premium. I'm stuck here!

Hiya, that’s quite a situation! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble upgrading to Spotify Premium due to your account and payment method being in different countries. Here are a few solutions you can try:

  1. Contact Spotify support:

    • Contact Spotify support directly and explain your situation.
    • They may be able to help you change your country or provide you with a solution.
  2. Use a different payment method:

    • If possible, try using a payment method from the country in which your Spotify account is registered.
    • If you don't have a payment method from that country, you can try using a different payment method that is accepted in both countries.
  3. Create a new account:

    • Create a new Spotify account that is registered in the same country as your payment method.
    • You can then upgrade to Premium with that account.
  4. Change your payment method:

    • Consider changing your payment method to one that is accepted in the country in which your Spotify account is registered.
    • You can update your payment method in your Spotify account settings.
  5. Use a VPN:

    • You can try using a VPN to change your IP address and appear to be in the same country as your payment method.
    • However, using a VPN to circumvent regional restrictions may violate Spotify's terms of service.

I hope these suggestions help you resolve the issue and allow you to upgrade to Spotify Premium with that sweet sweet ad free listening experience!

Hoping to have provided a solution!

Let me know what comes of the situation,
