Issues with partner joining Duo

Hi folks - I invited my husband to join a Duo plan, he clicks the login in the link sent through Messenger and can join with no issue. Then when he restarts Spotify, he can only access basic. How do we fix this please?

It's great to hear that you've now got your husband set up on the Duo plan. I can totally understand, though, that it could feel frustrating when things don't sync up right away, but no worries.

 

If he's still seeing a Basic subscription, it usually just means that he's logged into a different account by mistake. To get this sorted, I'd recommend double-checking the credentials (email, username etc.) on his Account Page here and within the Spotify app. Once you identify the correct account, you can simply close the extra one to avoid future confusion. 

 

Worth mentioning is that you can also reach out to us internally here if you need a hand with transferring music between the accounts.
