Just got premium via gift card. I don't see an option to download music.

My Question or Issue

 I got Spotify premium earlier today via a $10 giftcard and upon activation the app still has a tab dedicated to promoting spotify premium, and an ad for premium above every single artist page I visit. While this is kind of intrusive, I can put up with it but my biggest problem comes from the fact that I don't have the option to download albums or playlists etc. I halfway suspect that the problem will solve itself but any insight as to why this might be happening would be greatly appreciated. I've used spotify premium before and have never had a problem with the service outside of this.
