Hi. I have just signed up to patreon and when Spotify ask me to link up my Patreon account to Spotify I press ok, but they won't link. How can this be solved?

Can you try restarting your device? Once you do that, try linking to Patreon following these steps.

I did this and it did not work. I’ve made a full circle loop from the “link to Spotify” button in my Patreon to “Success! Your audio is now available on Spotify!” and it’s brings me to Spotify where the bonus material is still locked (a little lock over the play button) and it says “bonus episode for subscribers” but it also says that I’m a “subscriber.”

Just to confirm, are you unable to access the episodes on all devices that you use Spotify on? Or are the episodes still locked on a specific one?

If you haven't already, it's worth clearing stored cache. Once it's done, make sure to log out from the app and back in again twice in a row. Completing these steps should resync your account info 🙂

Can you check if you see Patreon in the list of subscriptions here? Since it might not have been linked properly, it's worth removing it if you see it there and trying again. Make sure to follow these steps and if you've tried doing it from Patreon's side until now, try connecting it directly from Spotify instead and vice versa. In case the issue persists, try using a different device and an incognito window to see if that makes a difference.

I'm having the same issue, and it's super frustrating. I'm in a loop, where it says my Patreon account is connected and then STILL won't let me listen to Patreon episodes. What am I doing wrong??? I'm ready to cancel my subscription over this nonsense.

Could you tell us if this happens to all episodes or only to some of them and if you've checked if the affected episodes are playable via the Patreon online platform? If not it'd be great if you could take a look and let us know! 

What I'm also thinking here is that Patreon sometimes has different membership tiers, which could be affecting what you have access to.

Tip: It's always a good idea to ensure that the correct Patreon account is linked to Spotify! You may need to log out and re-link your account to do so.
