MbWay (vertual credit card) Payment failed - Portugal

I created my Premium Duo Account with a virtual credit card from MbWay (the Portuguese virtual credit card provider). It has worked well for 6 months.

This month the payment failed, though the card was still valid.

I canceled that card, created a new one and the payment failed again.

Why is the payment failing?
